Query

Prostate Cancer OR Prostatic Neoplasms

Names the matcher also recognizes: Prostate Cancer, Prostatic Neoplasms. Abbreviations shorter than five letters stay off the query so a string such as MS does not pull unrelated records. Status filter: recruiting or not yet recruiting. The same names are how a personalized search starts. Washout timing still needs the treatment end date you enter on the search form. Comprehensive Monitoring of Men With Prostate Cancer Cared for by "Active Surveillance

Recruiting · Not specified · registry updated 2026-08-10

Prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in men. However, there is a wide range in prognosis determined by a host of factors. This study will evaluate the feasibility of guiding therapeutic intervention electronically facilitated symptom and disease monitoring in patients being followed on Active Surveillance. Additionally, we will develop a tissue and data resource to support discovery and hypothesis generation to evaluate germline and/or somatic alterations in relation to cancer-specific and overall outcomes..

  2. NCT06567314

Phase 2 Study of Ivonescimab in Patients With Cutaneous Squamous Cell Carcinoma

    Recruiting · Phase 2 · registry updated 2026-06-11

To learn if ivonescimab can help to control advanced cSCC. The safety and effects of ivonescimab will also be studied.

  3. NCT07223385

High Cardiovascular Risk Intervention With Cardio-Oncology Consultation for Prostate Cancer Following Androgen Receptor Pathway Inhibitor (ARPI) Therapy (Heart-Safe)

    Recruiting · Phase 2 · registry updated 2026-08-06

In patients with prostate cancer (PC), cardiovascular disease (CVD) causes significant morbidity and is the second leading cause of death. Both pre-existing CVD and the use of androgen deprivation therapy (ADT)-a key cornerstone of treatment for men with locally advanced or metastatic PC1,2 contribute to increased CV risk. ADT has been associated with adverse metabolic effects, including increased central adiposity, elevated low-density lipoprotein (LDL) levels, impaired glycemic control, and arterial wall remodeling and endothelial dysfunction The data demonstrates that for most patients, the status quo is insufficient6 and there remains a critical gap in the early identification of high CV-risk PC patients who may benefit most from aggressive risk mitigation strategies. Mitigation strategies, like the addition of statins as primary prevention, have shown decrease in MI/CHD death across thousands of patients. Age-related expansion of hematopoietic clones carrying recurrent somatic mutations, termed clonal hematopoiesis of indeterminate potential (CHIP) has recently been identified as a significant driver of atherosclerosis, doubling the risk of coronary heart disease....

High-resolution PET-CT Specimen Imaging for the Perioperative Visualization of Resection Margins

Recruiting · Not Applicable · registry updated 2025-02-19

These are patients in whom a benign or malignant tumor was recorded requiring surgery. During that surgery, the surgeon will cut away the tumor as part of the treatment of the disease. In this process, it is important that the tumor is removed correctly and completely. To verify that the correct tissue was completely removed, the tissue is examined microscopically. However, a microscopic analysis takes a relatively long time and the result is not known until a few days after the surgery is completed. If that microscopic analysis should eventually reveal that the tumor was not completely removed, additional treatment is usually necessary. An assessment of the excised tissue during surgery would allow additional tissue to be excised in the same operation if necessary. Thus, in this way, additional treatments can also be avoided. This could lead to shorter treatment time and less emotional strain for the patient, as well as lower costs. To date, however, there are no effective techniques to do this. PositronEmissionTomography (PET) imaging can be used to image the tumor that needs to be excised. To do this, a tracer must be administered through the blood before the operation....

Oxybutynin ER to Promote Early Continence Recovery After Robotic Prostatectomy: A Randomized Controlled Trial

Recruiting · Not Applicable · registry updated 2026-03-16

The goal of this double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled study is to evaluate whether oxybutynin chloride extended-release tablets can improve early continence recovery after robot-assisted radical prostatectomy (RARP) in patients with localized prostate cancer. The main questions it aims to answer are: \[Does oxybutynin chloride improve continence recovery after RARP compared to a placebo?\] \[What are the predictors of continence recovery?\] Researchers will compare the treatment group (oxybutynin chloride 10 mg/day) with the control group (placebo) to assess differences in continence outcomes. Participants will: \[Take the assigned medication (oxybutynin chloride or placebo) daily for 1-3 months until continence recovery.\] \[Complete surveys (e.g., IPSS, IIEF, ICIQ) at several time points post-surgery, including before surgery, 10 days after Foley catheter removal, and up to 12 months.\] \[Record any adverse events or concomitant medication use.\] Safety and tolerability will be monitored, and statistical analyses will determine the efficacy and predictors of continence. The study adheres to ethical principles, local regulations, and GCP guidelines.

    Recommended Dose Estimation of BP-C2

    Recruiting · Phase 1 · registry updated 2025-05-09

The aim is to estimate an oral administered recommended dose of BP-C2 in addition to hormone treatment of prostate cancer. The study population consists of prostatic cancer patients between 18 and 80 years of age undergoing hormonal treatment. Four patients will be recruited consecutively from each of two participating hospital. The study will be performed as an open, one-dimensional multi-center trial with a 3-level within-patient Response Surface Pathway (RSP) design.

  8. NCT05946213

Testing Shorter Duration Radiation Therapy Versus the Usual Radiation Therapy in Patients With High Risk Prostate Cancer

    Recruiting · Phase 3 · registry updated 2026-09-10

This phase III trial compares stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT), (five treatments over two weeks using a higher dose per treatment) to usual radiation therapy (20 to 45 treatments over 4 to 9 weeks) for the treatment of high-risk prostate cancer. SBRT uses special equipment to position a patient and deliver radiation to tumors with high precision. This method may kill tumor cells with fewer doses over a shorter period of time. This trial is evaluating if shorter duration radiation prevents cancer from coming back as well as the usual radiation treatment.
