Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus recruiting studies and washout check

574 studies matched on ClinicalTrials.gov for the query below. Retrieved September 27, 2026. This page does not say who can enroll.

Query

Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus OR Type 1 Diabetes OR Diabetes Mellitus Type 1

Names the matcher also recognizes: Type 1 Diabetes, T1D, Diabetes Mellitus Type 1. Abbreviations shorter than five letters stay off the query so a string such as MS does not pull unrelated records. Status filter: recruiting or not yet recruiting. The same names are how a personalized search starts. Washout timing still needs the treatment end date you enter on the search form. China Diabetes Type 1 Study (CD1S) by China Alliance for Type 1 Diabetes

Recruiting · Not specified · registry updated 2026-04-28

The aim of the China Diabetes Type 1 Study (CD1S) is to conduct a nationwide type 1 diabetes (T1D) registry study in patients with T1D and in pediatric adolescent patients with diabetes who had an age of onset \<= 20 years. CD1S compromises a retrospective study enrolling inpatients hospitalized from Jan 1st, 2016 to Dec 31, 2021, and a prospective study beginning from the year 2022.

  3. NCT05663515

A Pan-European Post-Authorisation Safety Study: Risk of Pancreatic Cancer Among Type 2 Diabetes Patients Who Initiated Exenatide as Compared With Those Who Initiated Other Non-Glucagon-Like Peptide 1 Receptor Agonists Based Glucose Lowering Drugs

Recruiting · Not specified · registry updated 2026-09-24

EXCEED is a non-interventional post-authorisation safety study aiming to assess the risk of developing pancreatic cancer among type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) patients who initiated exenatide compared to those who initiated other non-glucagon like peptide 1 receptor agonists (GLP-1 RA) based glucose lowering drugs (GLDs). Study data will be collected from secondary data sources across 7 European countries. The study will be conducted as a multi-country, long-term, retrospective, observational database study. Initiators of exenatide will be matched to initiators of non-GLP-1 RA based GLDs (comparator group) based on propensity score and calendar period of study entry. All analyses for pancreatic cancer will be conducted in the matched study population using an "intention-to-treat" approach. The study will use information from 8 data sources in 7 European countries (France, Spain, The United Kingdom, Finland, Denmark, Norway, and Sweden). Patients with T2DM, aged 18 years or older, who initiated treatment with exenatide or non-GLP-1 RA based GLDs during the study period, 2006 to 2023, will be included....

Accuracy and Safety of Anytime 5Pro and Anytime 4Pro CGM Systems in Adults With Diabetes

Not Yet Recruiting · Not Applicable · registry updated 2026-06-12

This post-market clinical follow-up (PMCF) investigation evaluates the accuracy and safety of two CE-marked continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) systems, the Anytime 5Pro and the Anytime 4Pro, in adults with type 1 or type 2 diabetes. Each participant simultaneously wears one Anytime 5Pro sensor and one Anytime 4Pro sensor, one on each upper arm, for the full labelled wear period of each device (up to 16 and 15 days, respectively). CGM readings are compared against venous blood glucose measured by a laboratory reference analyzer (YSI 2500) during four in-clinic sampling sessions that include controlled glucose manipulation. Participants are masked to real-time CGM readings throughout the study. The investigation is conducted to confirm device performance and safety under real-world conditions of use in a European population, in line with the manufacturer's post-market clinical follow-up obligations under the EU Medical Device Regulation.

  5. NCT03528226

Exercise Training and Endothelial Function in Type 1 Diabetes

Recruiting · Not Applicable · registry updated 2026-05-14

Endothelial dysfunction and vasoreactivity disorders are early subclinical complications of type 1 diabetes (T1D). In a preventive setting, in T1D patients still free of complications, the research of non-pharmacological interventions to improve endothelial function appears fundamental. In this randomized controlled trial, the effects of exercise training on endothelial function will be evaluated in T1D adults. Secondary objectives are to evaluate the exercise training effects on the micro and macrovascular function and exercise-induced tissue vasoreactivity and their possible neurometabolic consequences. An improvement in vascular function, particularly endothelium-dependent, as well as in neurometabolic profile, through this non-pharmacological strategy is expected

  6. NCT07750210

Study of Metabolic Dysfunction-associated Steatotic Liver Disease (MASLD) in Adults With Type 1 Diabetes

Not Yet Recruiting · Not specified · registry updated 2026-08-06

Type 1 diabetes (T1D) is a disease characterized by an absolute deficiency of insulin secondary to autoimmune destruction of pancreatic beta cells, historically individuals with T1D are not liable for metabolic complications. Recent evidence suggests a prevalence of MASLD in approximately 22.2% of adults with T1D; moreover, significant fibrosis (\> F2) is observed 'in 13.2% and advanced fibrosis (\> F3) in 5.12% of them (1) The development of MASLD is related to a persistence of inflammatory state and is favored by lipotoxicity due to the accumulation of free cholesterol(2) In individuals with T1D, MASLD risk may be influenced by disease-specific factors, including lifelong exposure to exogenous insulin, peripheral hyperinsulinemia with relative portal hypoinsulinemia, chronic hyperglycemia, marked glycemic variability, recurrent hypoglycemia, and progressive alterations in body composition....

  7. NCT04698330

Effects Of Berberine Plus Inulin On Diabetes Care in Patients With LADA

Not Yet Recruiting · Phase 4 · registry updated 2022-02-25

The primary purpose of this study is to evaluate the effects of oral berberine (BBR) and inulin combined with insulin therapy on diabetes care in patients with LADA.

  8. NCT06217302

Sotagliflozin to Slow Kidney Function Decline in Persons With Type 1 Diabetes and Diabetic Kidney Disease

    Recruiting · Phase 3 · registry updated 2026-03-24

Powerful new drugs that can prevent or delay end stage kidney disease (ESKD) - so called sodium-glucose cotransporter-2 inhibitors (SGLT2i) - are now available for patients with type 2 diabetes. Whether these drugs have similar effects in patients with type 1 diabetes (T1D) remains unknown because of the few studies in this population, due to concerns about the increase in risk of diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA, a serious, potentially fatal acute complication of diabetes due to the accumulation of substances called ketone bodies) observed with SGLT2i therapy in T1D. One of the few T1D studies conducted to date showed that implementing an enhanced DKA prevention plan can reduce the risk of DKA associated with the SGLT2i sotagliflozin (SOTA) to very low levels. In the present study, a similar DKA prevention program will be used to carry-out a 3-year trial to test the kidney benefit of SOTA in 150 persons with T1D and moderate to advanced DKD....
